Founding Member of National ALAS to Speak in Albuquerque

Ricardo Medina, one of the founding members of the National Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, will speak at the ALAS de Nuevo Mexico meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in the Sandia Room at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque. Medina is the former president of the national ALAS and a retired superintendent. He currently serves as director of the ALAS Superintendents Leadership Academy.
The newly formed ALAS de Nuevo Mexico will hold its meeting during the annual conference of the New Mexico Coalition of School Administrators. The agenda for the meeting includes an overview of the state organization, story sharing, committee assignments and establishing short- and long-term goals. School administrators from across the state are invited to attend.
